Cubesteak is Ribeye's eight-year-old kid brother. Ribeye looks after him while the two are off on a continuing quest to find their long lost father, Flanksteak.

Cubesteak has a genuis IQ which should be a good thing. Unfortunately, Bullbarians aren't supposed to have genuis IQ's, or be interested in the civilized world. Traditionally, they are only supposed to be good at doing battle and breaking things.

But Cubesteak loves civilization. His secret ambition is to be a 'modern' Iron Age scientist. This often times puts him at odds with his big brother, who is trying to teach Cubesteak how to stay true to their proud uncivilized heritage and shun anything to do with the "civvie" world.
